# Homey energy dongle

I use INNR SP 240 Zigbee smart plugs. Affordable, especially if you buy them in a 4-pack. Also check my post (and others’) in [this topic](https://community.homey.app/t/recommended-affordable-smart-plugs-with-power-meter-for-automation/127517/22) that discusses a similar question.

As to (in-wall) switches with energy metering, I use Shelly devices. However they are WiFi-based (not Zigbee). Most of my Zigbee in-wall switches are from SONOFF, but don’t have an energy metering option.
