# HomeWizard Plug-In Battery

It’s in the HW app topic, Steven.  
My guess is HW intentionally sells a simple battery, just to effectively use the surplus of one’s solar power for deferred use at night.

If you want to use a battery for also buying/selling energy, based on, like, energy prices, or just use as you like, something like [Sessy](https://community.homey.app/t/app-pro-sessy-thuisbatterij/78156) is a more logical choice imho.
