# HomeKit Experiment is retiring

No panic, as we can read in the firmware changelog, nothing changes **as long as you _don’t_ disable the Homekit experiment**.  
Plus, it doesn’t apply to pre Pro 2023 models

The topic title seems to be about a fact or statement, I’d like to suggest to change it to something like  
“How do I switch from Homekit integration to the Matter bridge app”
