# Heiman smoke detection quality?

Hi!

I read a lot about how to connect the Heiman smoke detector to the Homey and how easy that is. But does anybody have information on how good the quality of smoke detection is? Since that is the main reason to use such a device after all… 🙂

I have equipped my entire apartment with Heimann smoke alarms. The detectors are very sensitive. A lighted cigar nearby is enough and it gets loud.
