# Has anyone used HEKATRON smoke detectors with Homey?

yeah, what Tom said, was talking about an Homey app (which there isn’t one), should have mentioned that.

you can always write your own app, or there is a [Homey Community App Requests](https://community.homey.app/t/homey-community-app-requests/2713) topic where you can request an app.  
Please make sure you make the request with the provided template, to make sure all needed information is provided.
