Is it me, or are you using the wrong app? Growatt is not the same brand as Solar Edge? The Growatt inverters work with the solar panels app: [app](https://homey.app/en-ca/app/it.diederik.solar/Solar-Panels/) ---

Solar Edge just mentioned a couple of weeks ago that they are supporting Growatt as well. However I have SoloarEdge at my house in Switzerland and here the screen looks the same. it is about modbus tcp, all inverters work the same , only different registers mostly ---

do you have modbus installed and enabled like in the pdf? and more stuff is coming to control your inverter. ---

Need to ask the Provider if modbus is installed. I habe no idea just installed the App on my homey. Will Check let you know ---

I have a client asking for a solution of making a remote automation running his Growatt battery storage. The Homey and your app looks like an solution. A question, is the KMTronic always needed, also for a 10KTL3-XH? As I understood your app it will be able to control the charge from AC and discharge, with different times and also set power limits, correct? Thanks ---

Hey for growatt I think it should work, I am solaredge fanboy and don’t own growatt but indeed you need a device so homey can do modbus comm and talks to growatt. But what I see and heard, Growatt can handle almost all devices. many people uses other devices than KMTronic Off course , the test version of this app has pull requests of growatt users and they do some complex advanced flows. with SOC and dynamic prices , or not allowed to deliver back But check the growatt modbus registers for your device and also home assistant forums. But like always installing it , make it work is 1 thing but fine tuning with PV, dynamic prices is another thing and always takes a lot of work. thanks Edwin ---

Thanks for the reply, I’m aware of the programing of flows etc, it was just a question if the modbus interface was needed for all Growatt inverters but then I understand, thanks for the info πŸ‘πŸ»
