# Group app

Bei der App scheint sich einiges zu tun, Link aus [Einstellungen](https://tools.developer.homey.app/tools/app-settings) verschwunden, musste alle Gruppen neu kreieren weil sich etwas grundlegendes geändert hat.

Heute wieder zwei Updates.

Nach dem neuesten Update funktionieren die Gruppen wieder.  
Der Link ist allerdings immer noch verschwunden.

Es scheint das der Link nicht mehr benötigt wird denn die App erkennt die Gerätegruppe jetzt.  
Ein Problem ist aber immer noch bei Lampen das Dimmen und Leuchtstärke.

@Jamie kümmert sich sicher noch um das Einstellungsmenü. Man sollte schon die Gruppen nachträglich bearbeiten können. Jamie sitzt in Australien, wir wollen ihn erst mal pennen lassen.

I apologise for writing this in english, however I was summoned (@jamie).

I had a choice, either release a working version of the group app - or I wait until I have re-added the settings link - and the group app completely stops working when v10 of homey is released and everyones groups break …forever.

I decide that the group app not working any more was worse then the settings link not being there? Perhaps I was wrong? Perhaps no groups is better the no settings link?

Most of the settings from the ‘link’ are now inside of the device settings screen.

As I have said many times, the ability to add/remove devices from a group after it is created will be added … later. Its a huge amount of work.
