Please do this. You probaly know GlueLock and with Homey app as “lock”, it is a bit … cumbersome. With GlueLock, we cannot get the last know state of the lock, only last known state of the app/GlueLock-action. Also Homey dictates: always locked and more, which cannot be assured thorugh the api - if you know what I’m referencing to 🙂 ---

@Kim_Kokholm the test is working really great and the big benefit of getting this in as an app was that now I also have the locks in HomeKit and can now control them there. I agree the only problem is the lock status as this is not reported. But I am not using your app instead of my script. One issue I don’t know if it was stated but you have to restart the app after you have added the api key. But all in all great work and big thanks from me on this 🤘 Now only I need some one to make an app for my Balboa Spa. Edit: My bad, after I tried everything I could and posting here, I realised that Kjetil posted that you have to restart the app. I did and now everything is working 🙂 Hi! I would like to test your app but I do not understand the instructions on Github. I got the API key using Kjetil\_Vert’s method from the first post but when I paste it in your app, the lock cannot be discovered. Maybe I am doing this wrong all along? Do I need to somehow activate the lock? I currently have the hub and the lock set up with the Glue app and everything is working. Could you please explain the steps needed to add the lock to Homey? ---

Thank you for asking. No assistance needed. I only have a question. I noticed that Homey will randomly send me notifications saying that the lock was locked/unlocked. Those are not related to the physical state of the lock. No one is touching it, no one is even opening the door but I will still get those notifications. At the same time, when the lock’s state actually changes because someone unlocks it, there is no notification. Do you know what might be causing this? ---

Hi @Krzysiek , one reason could be if your Homey is restarting quite often, maybe state can get lost. Do you see anything in the timeline, maybe events are pushed to timeline, matching the timestamps of notification. The device vs the lock statement. If you purely use the device, the state in the app should be correct. If you use the lock itself, without the Gluelock, the state will then get “off”. Gluelock cannot “detect” if you are using the lock on the door - it can only register state-change when using the app/device. Does this make sense?
