Hey Guys Not sure if I am doing this right I am just testing the presence flows – only had the Homey pro a week – I created a flow just to trigger the LED ring when I come home but for some reason it doesn’t trigger – not sure what I am doing wrong – is there something in the phone app I have to activate the geofence – I’ve looked through it but can’t see anything in there ![46](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/c/0/c01876433698fcbda2864f3e25ef07a5dad993a2.png) ---

The _ **Locate Homey automatically** _ uses information from _unreliable_ sources to find the position of your Homey. In other words, it often puts your Homey in a different location to your house., therefore, Homey doesn’t know you are home. The other issues users have is with their phones. Make sure the Homey app is not put to sleep when you are not using it else it can’t send the information to Homey. Make sure the Location service on your phones is turned on all the time, etc ---

Thanks - got it sorted - it was the location settings on the iPhone was set to while using the app - changed it to always now - it should work now ---

How can I set the location for the Homey pro which can be used for attendance detection? And is this a global setting or does very user have to set this by themselves ---

Hi Remco, Point taken, however, I can’t read your mind, nor can I see what you did and didn’t do, or know or don’t know 😉🤸 This is why I pointed you to the KB first. Now, for the “it still doesn’t work” issue: enable all Homey app location permissions, exclude the app from energy saving and “sleep” / “hibernate” stuff. I mention this, because you did not tell you’ve tried that as well ☺ Kind regards ---

Thanks for thinking along The app has full access and nothing prevents it to use location services whenever needed. The odd, every other app that use location services works fine. Except Homey. And as there are so manu issues with homey at all, I doupt it is my device as well as all the devices of my ---
