# Genie Aladdin Connect App

I’d like to request native Homey support for Genie Aladdin Connect garage door openers, primarily to create better notifications about my doors’ status.

I already control my doors through the Aladdin Connect app, but I’d like to use Homey Flows to:

- Send a push notification when any garage door is open and no one is home.
- Send a push notification when any garage door has been left open longer than a set number of minutes.

Having door status and open/close controls directly in Homey would let me build these automations without adding another controller or running Home Assistant.

Genie offers an official partner API and SDK that may provide a path to integration. Is anyone working on this, and are other Homey users interested?

We got in touch with them recently and will be looking at onboarding them to the Works with Homey partner program.
