# Generic zigbee - type of the device

Hey guys. I would like to know if I add a zigbee device which has not its own app will it work with its basic function as a generic device? I mean if it is door sensor, temperature sensor, motion sensor etc will it do its own job?

Just the basic on/off functions will work.

And for temp sensor will it show tepmperature? Motion sensor trigger motion? Etc…

JUST the basic on/off functions will work. So NO motion and stuff like that. Just basic On/Off . So ur temp sensor will NOT show the temp and ur motion sensor will NOT show motion.
