# Gen 1 LivingColours Remote

Hey guys, new user and first time poster here 🙂
I’ve currently got a Philips LivingColours Gen 1 with a dead remote, and I’ve got a few questions.
Can any remote be used with the light or does it have to be the same Gen 1 remote?
Does anyone have any spare Gen 1 remotes because I can’t find them anywhere!!😂😂
If there’s any way for me to connect it straight to my phone without having setup anything ‘Smart’ before, I’d appreciate the advice massively!

Unfortunately not just yet, I’m starting Uni in September and was looking to have a smart home setup there, and thought what better way to start than with the LivingColours I already have!
