# Foscam niet meer met Homey?

Ik vind het een vreemde discussie waarom moet een app developer plaats maken voor Foscam dat de app nu wilt uitbrengen? Zeker als de developer akkoord heeft van Foscam. Laat de developer app voorgoed staan en doorontwikkelen en plaats daarnaast (de dan wel eigen gemaakte) app van Foscam. De gebruiker kiest welke hij beter vind, dan ben je goed bezig! Dit geldt dan voor ieder bedrijf niet alleen voor Foscam.

I agree, good response from Athom afterwards.

Also I applaud Athom for coming out and saying they are fine with the community store and installing from CLI. Plenty of companies that wouldn’t do that.

Inderdaad dat is ook precies mijn gedachte. Sta gewoon meerdere apps toe per merk en laat de users maar beslissen welke ze willen gebruiken. Het is ook een extra stimulans voor de fabrikanten om hun app niet te laten versloffen.
