I am looking at creating a flowcard in an app I’m creating, which will have a dropdown argument allowing the user to pick an option when creating the flow, obviously it is easy enough to define a hard-coded list of options in the json for flow card, but is there any way to get this list dynamically from the app?

Basically it’s a scheduling app which allow different states to be scheduled for certain times and I’m hoping to be able to let the user dynamically create a new state and then have a list of all available states available in the dropdown, rather than the user having to manually type in the state name, but not sure if this is actually possible?

And a second question, with a time argument, is it possible to limit the available times (like the step parameter for number values), so for instance only 15 minute intervals would be available? Obviously I can just round times off to the required interval in the code but it would be nice to actually present this to the user.

Yes, that’s called autocomplete. You can register an autocomplete listener in your app and then use the type “autocomplete” for the argument.

> Flow card arguments are passed as an input to your Flow card, users can pick the argument values when creating or editing a Flow. | Flow arguments allow Flow cards to ask for user input.
