# Find working token for Xiaomi Mi Home Apps

I have tried all the available tutorials to trace the token (hex) to activate the Xiaomi Mi Home app within homey but was never successful. I always received the message that the pairing was not successful. I made an un-encrypted back-up of both my iPhone and iPad to trace eventually the same token, which was, however, not recognized. I used a fixed IP address in the homey MI app. I use the latest version of all software: Mi home app on iPhone v4.20.4, Xiaomi Mi Home app on homey v2.12.2, etc.  
Is there another way?
