He needs to switch 24V m8. The Aeotec nano switch works with 120-240V.

Oh, that I did not check, thanks for letting us know! Guess we need to ask Athom for a feature request.

Again? 😉

I think multiple users should make a device request so that hopefully the request will be prioritized higher.

Did you ever find the reason for this problem? I have the same problem today? The outputs won’t be changed to NC even if the parameter seems successfully changed. 🙂

Hey Homeys!

First, thank you to [fantross](https://community.homey.app/u/fantross) for explaining how to configure the parameters. Now I can operate my garage door remotely which have been on my “want”-list for some time. I wish the parameter configuration was more user friendly in Homey but hey…you can’t get all you want. 😄

Secondly, and this might not be specific to Smart Implant…but is there a way to remove stuff from the dashboard. In my use of the SI I only have internal temperature active (haven’t figured out why humidity is not showing any value) so there are ten values in the dashboard that will never show anything. Can those be hidden someway?

 ![Skärmavbild 2023-12-13 kl. 16.25.56](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/d/2/d2c030a36281c453c2a10caadd57216f2f5a5659.png)

Below those in that picture there are five more and the humidity. I’d like it to only show internal temperature and humidity (if I can get humidity to show a value).

Cheers
Fred

EDIT: realized that the SI doesn’t have an internal humidity sensor…so there will not be any value for it until I get an external sensor for it. I think I will get a DHT22 dual sensor and mount it on the ceiling. This way I can monitor the humidity in the garage and also get a crude fire detector using the temp sensor.

When you get these sensors, exclude (delete) the implant from the network, the connect the sensors, then include implant back. Else no values will be shown.

No, it’s not possible.

Workaround: You could use the _ **Device Capabilities** _ app to create a device with only the capabilities you want to use.
Disadvantage: An additional app is required and you have an additional device. The device tile from the SI could then be moved to an “Other” zone, for example.

hi,
Im trying to achieve the same thing. Smart implant in a dumb gate-opener. I’ve included the RAW configuration 20,1,2;156,2,1;21,1,2;157,2,1
I can send out commands no problem, but I can’t the the implant to act like a monostable output. I click it in the app, and the gate opens no problem, men the button will not switch off. I have 156 set to 1 (0,1 sek) and I check in the developer page and this info is available:

 ![Skärmavbild 2024-05-28 kl. 11.07.24](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/d/8/d8747a3d8faf39e8a202f996c6e3b697c53f9e00.png)
Irritatingly enough I had this working perfectly in my old homey.
Any suggestions?

Guess the auto-off time is too short, 1 = 0.1 Sec. Probably better try 5 or 10.

What do you mean by this exactly?
Do you mean, if you push the dark grey device tile (= switched off) of the SI, the device tile changes to light grey (= switched on) and stays light grey?
If so, I **guess** this has nothing todo with the settings of the SI but with the Fibaro App or the Homey Smartphone App, so maybe ask Athom.
A temporary workaround could be to use a virtual device for open/close the gate opener.

Because I don’t use my SI since several month anymore, I don’t know if something changed between HP19 (or earlier) and HP23 and I can’t test anything myself.

I use the SI for my gates and garage doors all the time and they are still working the same for me on my HP23. I always use VD’s to operate the SI otherwise you need to select which output you are switching.

I press the button. in the app, which duly closes the “output1 circuit”, and the button goes from black to white, however it does not automatically klick back to black, ie acting like a momentary switch. From what I gather this is what the Ras command “20,1,2;156,2,1” should force it to do.

In order to get it to work I need to klick it, and then click it again.

I tried changing the time to 5, but that would only increase the duration of the ouput circuit being closed, my garage opener was satisfied with the short 0,1 burst and opens and closes fine. It works with the physical “input button” to the SI in other words.

I see a virtual device would be a workaround, thanks for the suggestion. But I would really like to get it to work natively, just one less level of complexity.

Mine goes from black to white and then back to white. My garage requires my SI to act as a momentary switch. May parameters are 20,1,0;156,2,5

As I mentioned already, I **guess** the behavior of the device tile has absolutely nothing todo with the settings of the outputs of the SI. In theory, the push on the device tile is more or less an input action to switch the output of the SI. Hope you understand what I mean.

Which Homey firmware version do you use?
The v11.1.0, which was released two days ago, includes some bug fixes acc. button capabilities:

> – Fixes an issue with certain button capabilities that could cause the button not to work as expected (e.g. muting the volume).
> – Fixes an issue where setting uiComponent to null would not work.

I’m not sure, if this is related to your problem, but it might be worth a try.

Which Homey App version do you use?
Is this behavior present on different smartphones/tablets?

Further suggestions:
– Restart the Fibaro App
– Re-install the Fibaro App **without** deleting it before
– Restart HP23
– PTP HP23
– Exclude and re-include the SI (I know, that sucks! But @martijnpoppen made a script to fix all the flows after excluding and re-including devices → [[HOW-TO][Pro][Cloud] - Tool to FIX (advanced) flows after removing and re-adding devices](https://community.homey.app/t/how-to-pro-cloud-tool-to-fix-advanced-flows-after-removing-and-re-adding-devices/65018))

I have just migrated to a new Homey Pro and noticed that all my zwave devices (all Fibaro) were missing.
After some failed research on how to recover them, i decided to delete and re-add the devices.

I have deleted and re-added a button already, but now im trying to re-add my smart implant and its failing. I’m getting unable to connect, and the last messages in the log are:

```auto
```

I have tried restarting the homey, restarting the app and resetting the smart implant to factory settings, all with the same result. Anyone has any idea what i can do?

There were zwave issues when HP23 was first released but that has improved markedly, and I never had any issues with my SI devices.
A big mistake I made when I first got it was to place it neat PC monitors and my wifi modem. Make sure it is not near metal, magnets or any other electrical interference.
Also make sure it is on the latest version of firmware.

The Homey Fibaro app must be installed for the Smart Implant to work correctly.

The temperature of the external DS18B20 sensor is displayed in the SI device in the Homey smartphone app itself; no additional app or virtual device is required.

Important: You must first connect the sensor and then include the SI.
