Hi, I have switched over from Fibaro too šŸ˜Š and I am in the same situation as you. I love very much the advanced flows but donā€™t like at all the style of the icons and the fact that you donā€™t have different icons for different states of the device. Hope this will change. ---

I will check what the status is, this should have been fixed already. Do note, re-pairing the device is needed to get the custom icon. ---

Since you were tagging my post about the SONOS device icons receiving an update, I assumed thatā€™s what you were referring to. If you were asking about support for custom icons instead, thatā€™s currently not on the roadmap. ---

Hi Athom team and fellow Homey users Iā€™ve been a Homey Pro user for some time and am generally very satisfied with the systemā€™s flexibility and user-friendliness. However, one important feature is missing that would greatly improve the visual usability of larger setups: šŸ”¹ **The ability to upload custom icons or images for devices ā€“ especially physical devices.** I use Homey to control many types of equipment, not just lights and switches. Some of the devices I manage include: - Pumps - Ventilation systems - Water meters - Actuators - Coffee machines - Specialized sensors Unfortunately, the current icon library doesnā€™t include any appropriate icons for most of these. As a result, I am often forced to use unrelated symbols (like a lightbulb icon for a pump), which reduces clarity and usability. Previously, I used **Fibaro HC2** , which allowed uploading your own device images, and it worked very well. It gave: - Better visual navigation - Easier access for family members - Better customization for specialized equipment * * * I understand the desire to maintain design consistency, but I kindly ask you to consider: 1. Allowing users to **upload their own SVG or PNG icons** (perhaps with a size/quality guideline). 2. Expanding the built-in icon library to include more technical device types. 3. Enabling icon customization for **all** devices ā€“ not just virtual ones. Many users on the forum have requested this feature already. I hope youā€™ll consider adding this long-awaited flexibility to Homey. Thank you for your time ā€“ and for a great product! **Best regards,** _Jan Severin_ ---

+1 from my side to Actually, i think, this is fact that no one producer can not fullfill all icon requests from all users/devices šŸ˜‰ Andā€¦ if the custom uploaded icon does not fullfil all parameters ( seems ugly on some (rare) cases ) - then ā€¦ this is only problem for the ā€œcustomizatorā€, not for producer ( ok, may-be some _rare_ support requests additionally, but i think, less, than right now, 'bout the customized icons ) ---

I have virtual devices that I use to set the house to a specific mode. It would be great if there were icons for: - Home (icon of a house šŸ  or apartment šŸ¢) - Outdoor (icon with a landscape ā›° or trees šŸŒ²šŸŒ³) - Automatic (icon of a robot šŸ¤–) - also handy for when the humanoids enter houses! - Manual (icon of hands šŸ‘‹ or a hand pressing a button šŸ‘‰) Hopefully someone is willing and able to get started with this! ---

when will we get icons like arrows., buttons, etc.? I built a remote control dashboard for my Nvidia Shield but it looks very poor because I donā€™t have icons that represent the function do I have to rely on text which is not intuitive at all, and I canā€™t resize the icons, add blank spaces, etc. ---

This topic is about device icons, I guess you are referring to custom icons within button capabilities? If so, this is already possible and can be implemented by the app developer. ---
