# \[FeatureRequest\] Flow sharing Translation

As someone who can only speak one language (and barely even that sometimes), I find it difficult to follow some threads on here, where another user shares a screenshot of their flow cards and it is obviously written in their language and not mine. So I have no clue what the card does. They are kindly speaking in English so I understand what they are saying, but I don’t understand what I’m looking at in the image they have shared.

That got me thinking that maybe homey could create a “share flow” option specifically for this forum, so instead of just sharing a picture of their flow, where the words have no meaning, homey could share the meaning of each card so that when someone Spanish shares their flow, the terms are translated into German for German speakers, or English for English speakers. Instead of it being an image file, it is a file which says “this is an and card, and the contrition is…” and so I can see the translated version of that in English.

I understand the issue people are having with AI translations, but because the cards are all controlled by homey, then they already have the translation of each term into each language in a database somewhere anyway.

I understand your point. And I am also one of those users partly to blame for that 😊.

An alternative would be if Athom would make it easier to switch the displayed language in Homey. Currently, if you want to (temporarily) change the language, you need to restart your Homey, which often proves to be too much of a hassle if you just quickly want to change the language to make a screenshot for sharing part of a flow.
