# \[FeatureRequest\] Ability to batch-pair devices like lights

**Description** :  
In many environments, particularly offices and larger spaces, lights are installed in groups and are not always individually switchable or accessible. Currently, pairing each light with Homey requires manual individual pairing, which can be time-consuming, especially when dealing with a significant number of lights.

**Requested Feature** :  
We propose adding a **batch-pairing functionality** to simplify the setup process for grouped lights. This feature would allow users to pair multiple lights simultaneously or through an expedited sequence, reducing the number of clicks and time required.

**Use Case** :  
This feature would be especially useful in office buildings and other commercial environments where lights are deployed in clusters and often managed as groups rather than individually.

**Benefits** :

- Reduces the setup time and effort for users with multiple lights.
- Improves usability for large-scale installations.
- Enhances Homey’s appeal for business and commercial use.

This would be especially helpful for me. I have rooms with 10 spotlights, and I cannot switch them off individually to pair one at a time.
