Hello, I would like to connect my fan/lamp wich should be based on a bt 2.4g connection.
Is it possible to develop some support for it?

I’m really sorry for your laps. Hope you can fix it as soon as possible 😂

About my lamp is the following

This one is the control part. As far I know it work via Bluetooth (at least the app that comes with the lamp, no need to pair it)

This are all the data I know.

If there are any others I can tell you, just let me know 😊

That’s not enough for a developer to even consider creating support for it, I’m afraid.

All the GATT services and characteristics the device uses, how it’s discovered, how to pair with it.

But just to be clear, I’m not offering to write an app for it.

Does the app have IFTTT support? If so you can make webhooks to trigger it with Homey

You can try this:

- install Tuya Smart app on your mobile phone
- Add / pair the fan (pick ‘BLE’)
 ![Screenshot_20220811-202202_Tuya Smart](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/7/1/71e2772a5e6b8122d39d4665aef92deac612ce2b.jpeg)

If it succeeds, you can control it with Hpmey Tuya Cloud app, using one of the following two ways:

If I understand correctly, you have an app for this lamp on your phone? Downloaded from playstore (assuming your phone runs Android)? If so, please tell us which app you are using and we can take a quick look.

I wonder if a solution lies in buying a cheap esp32 device or a [shelly smart plug](https://shellystore.co.uk/product/shelly-plus-plug-uk/) and then using something like this guy did for Home Assistant:

What does a smart plug have to do with a ceiling fan? Usually those are controlled via switches, not plugged in to the power outlet.

That one has an ESP32 chip inside with BLE bluetooth inside which could be flashed with a custom version of ESPHome and then the potentially linked to Homey with the [ESPHome Controller | Homey](https://homey.app/en-gb/app/com.ugrbnk.esphome/ESPHome-Controller/) app. As far as I know this kind of ceiling fan uses BLE advertising rather than a specific bluetooth pairing, so the Shelly smart plug could be used to braadcast the fan commands using BLE advertising
