Hello Homey Community,
I’m currently using a Homey Pro with a Homey Bridge connected as a satellite. I’m curious about the Zigbee range extension capabilities of this setup.
Can the Homey Bridge effectively extend the Zigbee range when used as a satellite to Homey Pro?
If so, how can I confirm that the Bridge is actually functioning as a Zigbee repeater/router?
Are there any specific settings or configurations needed to enable this functionality?
Has anyone successfully used this setup to improve their Zigbee network coverage?
Are there any limitations or known issues with using Homey Bridge as a Zigbee range extender?
I’d appreciate any insights, experiences, or official information on this topic. Thank you in advance for your help

It’s all in the knowledgebase:

The bridge as zigbee device functions just like your ordinary zigbee router (almost any mains powered zigbee device acts as a router).
So, an €8 zigbee lamp has exactly the same functionality regarding zigbee.

There is no route info available for Pro23

In Korea, 433 MHz is blocked. Does this mean that in Korea, the range of Zigbee or Z-Wave is expanded, excluding 433 MHz?

Probably, but you have to ask Athom if you want a definitive answer.

Do I need a Homey Bridge Subscription when using as a Satellite for the Homey Pro?

There’s no such thing as a “Homey Bridge subscription”, so no 😃
