Hi everyone, does this app show the CO2 if the sensor is added to the devices? I can not see any cards showing the value at least 🤔

You probably need to update the firmware using the procedure described [here](https://docs.everythingsmart.io/s/products/doc/b7d755f9-84af-43bd-879b-e45ae0794271). You’ll see it asks if you have the CO2 module installed before deciding which version to download. Updating the firmware doesn’t update your wifi or Homey settings.

Note the linked page is specific to Everything Presence Light. The sidebar provides equivalent links for different Everything Presence devices.

Thanks for the reply @Andy_Henderson! My point is on the apps homepage I can not see any flow cards for CO2 level. If that is true we can not react to the CO2 value in homey?

I don’t have the CO2 module so can’t say. It definitely won’t work without the CO2 firmware. I’d just try it.

Lewis, the developer of the hardware and software is focused on HA and this is his first attempt at a Homey skill - he might not have set up the apps home page right. He is responsive to questions on [discord](https://discord.gg/Bgfvy2f).

Finally i got my Everything presence Pro sensor. I installed the co2 unit, and flashed with new firmware. Connecting it to homey was easy. But now I can’t turn of the LED light. LED mode is manual. Clicking the on/off button on the device detail view does nothing. Running this flowcard does nothing either. How to turn of the LED?

In the [developer tools](https://tools.developer.homey.app/tools/devices), my EPL’s show an capability called onoff.esp32\_led.

Originally that activated/deactivated the entire device in Homey. I had to write a bit of HomeyScript that turned them back on automatically because simply touching the tile in Homey turned the device off.

Prompted by your post, I just checked and there’s been a change at some point. Using the ESP32 LED on/off page now correctly turns the LED on and off. It looks like the problem you are seeing is specific to the Pro. Also I think the card you are showing is a Then card that says ‘Mute to 0%’. My EPLs don’t have any Then cards at all - another difference. It would be nice to be able to control the LED to show motion detected.

I suggest raising your issue in the Everything Presence Discord. Lewis is very helpful.

That’s true, but I just discovered it also disables the device like it did before. Events still appear in the device log, but they don’t trigger Homey flows. I’ve had to switch all my leds back on again.

**Entry zones and “Assume Present” on the EP Lite, set up without Home Assistant (Homey only)**

I wanted to share this because I could not find it anywhere in this topic, and because it is a fun way to configure your EP Lite.

**The problem.** My EP Lite in the living room kept losing me while I was sitting still watching TV. After a minute or so occupancy dropped and the lights went off.

**What happened.** It started as a bit of curiosity: I wondered whether Claude (the AI assistant I use on my laptop, connected to my home network) could see my sensors on the Wi-Fi. It found both my EP One and my EP Lites, and when I asked, it checked for newer firmware. The Lites were a few versions behind, so I had them updated to 1.5.0. When I asked what had changed since my old version, a setting called “Assume Present Timeout” caught my eye and I asked what it was for. It explained the idea: when the sensor loses you, it checks whether you left through an “entry zone” at a door. If so, you really left. If not, it assumes you are still there and keeps occupancy on. Then it said it could set that up for me right away, and asked two things: where is the door, and are you on the sofa right now?

So the next few minutes went like this. I told it there is a door to the right of the sensor and an open passage to the back room. It started tracking my position through the sensor and asked me to walk out through the door and back in, twice, and then out through the passage and back, twice. When I said I was done, it had seen where the sensor loses me each time, turned those spots into two entry zones, checked that my spot on the sofa was not inside either of them, and wrote everything to the sensor. Then it asked me to get up again to test it (of course).

**The test.** Out through the door: sensor reports a valid exit, occupancy off after 15 seconds, back on the moment I came in. Same through the passage. Then I sat down and kept still. After about a minute the radar lost me, the sensor switched to “assumed present” and occupancy stayed on. Exactly what I was missing. In Homey nothing changed at all: my flows still use the same Occupancy value, it just stopped dropping out.

**Why I’m posting this.** Not because of the settings themselves, but because I did not have to measure anything, learn the coordinate format, install Home Assistant or the zone configurator, or even know how the feature works. The sensor was paired to Homey the whole time and stayed that way. Everything went over the same local connection the Homey app uses. I just walked around the room when asked.

**Take-away:** next time you are on the sofa wondering about a sensor setting, ask your AI assistant. Chances are it can not only explain it but also do it, while you stay where you are.

Small plug: none of the above needed my own app, the sensor settings went over the sensor’s own local connection. But if you want your AI assistant to also see the Homey side (which flows use a sensor, what Insights show before and after a change), that is what [AI Chat Control]([AI Chat Control | Homey](https://homey.app/a/nl.joonix.aichatcontrol/)) in the Homey App Store does. Happy to share more details or the small scripts if anyone wants to try the same.
