# DRU Virtuo

Hi,

I need some help. We have the DRU Virtuo 80/3 fire, and it works with a remote and a Dru app. But i cant seem to make Homey control it. I found an old topic about an ‘amstelzone dru’ app that worked over CLI. But it wont install, nor can i make an app control it over IR? And now im unsure if its even an IR remote. I just want to be able to turn it on and off.

I have a gas fire operated by a remote that uses ultrasonic sound. Worse the thermostat is in the controller so there’s no easy way to by-pass it. Instead I have a couple of Switchbots strategically attached to the remote, One presses the ‘Auto’ key to turn it on, the other presses and holds the temperature down button for a few seconds to take it out of auto mode and switch it off.

Hardly hi-tech, but it works well.
