I’ve been really happy with my Homey Pro, but I recently encountered an issue. I purchased a Dreame X40 vacuum robot, assuming it would integrate seamlessly with Homey since it’s one of the fastest-growing and best vacuum robots on the market. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a way to integrate it. Does anyone know if there’s a solution or workaround to get the Dreame X40 connected with Homey? Any help would be greatly appreciated! ---

Hi I also have a dreame bot (can’t remember the version) and agree that it is a really great vacuum cleaner and can also agree that you always have to check first if the product is supported. But I could easily integrate it with a simple an cheap Amazon Alexa dot. You install the Dreamehome skill and then you can manage the dreame with the skill and the flows. ---

Hallo, Can you explain how you did this? I also have a dreame l10s , i can connect it to alexa but i can not connect it in homey to use it in flows ---

I’m, curious in the integraion too. As I’m finalising review of different robot vacuums. Does the [Xiaomi Mi Home App for Homey | Homey](https://homey.app/en-us/app/com.xiaomi-miio/Xiaomi-Mi-Home/) not work for Dreame robots? It seems that Dreametech has renamed to Dreame. ---

Yes, you would need to use the Xiami Mi Home app to control your Dreame X40 robot. However that specific device is still not listed as officially supported: > **[Supported Devices](https://github.com/jghaanstra/com.xiaomi-miio/wiki/Supported-Devices)** > > Homey app to control Mi Home devices that implement the miIO protocol and Xiaomi gateway child devices - jghaanstra/com.xiaomi-miio For now you can only pair them if you know the IP (which I did) and you are able to get the necessarry token to actually connect to the device (which I failed to do for now). Yes, it’s in development. For now, I will create a simple integration because it takes a lot of time. I’m doing reverse engineering and have set up a proxy to capture requests between the robot and the Dreame app. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find the Dreame specifications on [https://home.miot-spec.com](https://home.miot-spec.com) ---

I have found another workaround using Alexa as the trigger. Acording to Vacuum Wars which has been evaluating these machines since they ever existed, the new X40 is almost perfect.
