# Does presence need Google Play services?

After migrating to GrapheneOS presence is not working anymore. I have tried all known solutions but no success. GrapheneOS uses sandboxed Google play services so I was wondering?  
Anybody out here using Homey App on GrapheneOS who has working presence?

I use Macrodroid geofences to send webhooks to Homey. Works like a charm.  
I can show a howto when you’re interested.

Thank you. I have followed the tutorial and its working. I will test it for a couple of days next to the existing Home Precemnse/Away mode funtionality because after doing some more investigation I’m not sure if Homey is the only cause of wrong Geofencing or that more/other parmeters of GrapeneOS are the cause….
