# Does Homey support WiFi (build in) speakers?

Hello, Charles here. I’m planning on creating a smart home based on Homey Pro. I like to put some small speakers in the ceiling to play music. The only supported speakers mentioned on the Homey page are Sonos… but I like to us small build-in ceiling speakers…

Does anyone have some experience here? Any thoughts are welcome

If the ceiling speakers are connected to a Homey powered amp like Yamaha or Denon, this should work.

You can also use Yamaha Musicast. I believe Denon has a multi room speaker system too.

- Chromecast enabled speakers (nest mini for instance is ugly a.f., _but_ it is a wifi speaker 😅 The mike can be switched off (for what’s that worth on a Google device ).
- Spotify connect speakers
