# DIY Mini Smart Switch model iHSW02 Zigbee 3.0 not recognized

Hi all,  
Just bought a couple of Mini Smart Switches:  
[https://a.aliexpress.com/\_EyXgY4p](https://a.aliexpress.com/_EyXgY4p)  
DIY Mini Smart Switch model iHSW02 Zigbee 3.0  
I have no bridge for these switches.  
I’m trying to add this device to Homey, but it is not recognized while in pairing mode.  
I tried several apps like Tuya, Tuya Zigbee, Sonoff.  
How can I find out which app is needed for this device?  
Is there a possibility to add unknown switch devices?  
Other tips?

A zigbee switch like that should be paired as generic zigbee device.  
But are you sure it is the zigbee version you’ve ordered?  
While you also can select a wifi model while ordering. . →   
then install Tuya Smart app on your phone  
pair the switch using that app  
install Tuya Cloud app on Homey  
add a new device, and select switch from the Tuya Cloud app

Thanks @Peter_Kawa!  
I’ve added it successfully as unknown Zigbee device now. As you said, I didn’t needed any app after all. At adding a new device, I just had to choose Homey under “Suggested Brands”.  
I made sure I ordered a Zigbee, not a WiFi:

Nice to hear and glad it’s solved.

I realize you can read my sentence (_A zigbee switch like that should be paired as generic zigbee device_) in different ways.  
I meant when you pair a zigbee device through a zigbee app, like Tuya Zigbee, it should return “Device was not recognised by this app, adding it as generic zigbee device”.
