Is it not possible to create or monitor a homey dashboard directly from Windows ?

The answer to this question decides whether i have to give up on Homey and move to home assistant
(Not interested in running mobile os emulators etc)

You can use [https://my.homey.app/](https://my.homey.app/) for monitoring/configuring your Homey on Windows. You can use all devices and configure Flows and Advanced Flows, write HomeyScripts, view Insights, etc.

The “Dashboards” feature from the mobile app is not supported. There are third party dashboards for web browsers such as [https://homeydash.com](https://homeydash.com), [https://hdashboards.app](https://hdashboards.app) (paid) and [https://homeyboard.vercel.app/](https://homeyboard.vercel.app/)

Ok, thanks. So /Homey/ does not support dashbords for people using computers, people like engineers and technical people in general.

Yes, we have mobile devices but i count 98 devices and 18 active flows in my homey and even if grouped it is not easy to get an overview of the situation on a pinhole mobile screen.

So please tell me if it is so that people that has a lot of devices in a smart home and work with computers daily is not in the target group for "Homey Pro

I have many devices and work on my PC daily, but I have no need for dashboards. Most devices are voice controlled using Google Home and the ones that I need to control from my PC are marked as “favorite“ devices, so that I can instantly control them after opening the web app (on the home page).

You can also create device groups (with a [virtual device](https://homey.app/a/com.arjankranenburg.virtual/) or the [Groups](https://homey.app/a/com.swttt.devicegroups/) app), which can help to reduce the number of devices that you need in your Favorite Devices.

I don’t really have a need for dashboards on the mobile app either, since I think it’s quite limited (no conditional cards,etc.). I only use the mobile dashboards to view local webpages remotely using the [Web Proxy](https://homey.app/a/nl.dypodex.proxy) app.

This was the response to sort of the same question of one of the founders last October

> Web app usage is less than 20% of all users. Unfortunately the codebase is not very compatible, even though we use React Native & React.

But what’s exactly wrong with my.homey.app? (it’s even usable locally)
I know it’s not a real dashboard, but your fav devices and other fav things are there:

If the “founders” think that it is ok to diregard/disrespect the needs of 20% of the buyers/users, well that tells something of the ambitions.

When I’m working with the laptop I wish I could check the Dashboards with my custom charts. Especially if i’m tinkering with advanced flows (only possible on pc) to make decisions based on data that is easily accessed through those charts (insights don’t allow for charts with multiple variables).

It does. Just drag the items to the existing chart and they get added:

Only with the same unit. So it’s hard to correlate, power, energy consumption, temperature etc to optimize a system without it. You have to use the app DataVista and create a dashboard with a line chart from the app with up to 4 different variables even with different units.

So, only “20%” of users access their Homey Pro from a computer? I think that number is so low BECAUSE there is no Dashboard.

If the developers were only building for mobile devices then why are Advanced Flows only available on a computer?

I think there is a lot of starting new projects and moving on to the next next one, before finishing the first.

I see a lot of really great half baked projects with this device. Lets hope this is not what continues to happen. It will make this as bad as trying to use Home Assistant.
