# Danfoss smart devireg wifi thermostat

I was wondering how to add Danfoss Devireg smart wifi thermostat to homey pro (wifi isn’t supported by current danfoss app), or if it’s even possible? Anyone who have tried doing it, or connected something else over wifi without an app for the device?

Not sure how it runs, I think on a macOS/linux machine, Docker and maybe even windows. It publishes to MQTT, which you can use with Homey.

Did you find out how to add this to Homey?  
I see in the [forum post](https://community.homey.app/t/app-pro-danfoss-icon/92122), that wireless is still planned and not yet implemented, so I guess it would have to be done using a workaround like Peter suggested.

I can confirm this works. I’m running the ha-devi-mqtt docker image on my local network and using apps MQTT Broker + Client + Hub I’ve added a Homey device (MQTT Hub device) which maps MQTT states/commands. I’m using that device in flows and it works flawlessly and fast!

Would be great if this would be fully integrated in a Homey app, but I’m happy.
