Hello Athom Team,

I would like to suggest a feature enhancement for Homey that would greatly improve the user experience: the ability to use custom icons for zones.

Currently, the selection of zone icons is quite limited and doesn’t cover all possible room types and environments in a home. Many users, including myself, find it difficult to properly represent certain areas (e.g., laundry room, pantry, workshop, gym, wine cellar, etc.).

Proposed solutions:

- Allow users to upload custom icons (PNG/SVG format)

- Expand the default icon library with more options

- Integrate popular icon sets like Material Design Icons or Font Awesome

This feature would make the Homey interface more personalized and intuitive, especially for users with non-standard room layouts or specific needs.

Thank you for considering this request and for your continuous work on improving Homey.

Always free to suggest some icons of course!

Imho icons were never given the attention by Athom that they needed.
Also looking at device icons, it seems that we have a set of icons of which Athom employees got divices at home themselves… 🙂
It indeed would be great if we could choose our own icons for zones, devices, etc…
