Hi!
Is there any solution to critical alerts on samsung phones? I have a fully updated S25 and it will not play a sound as long as i have it on sound off. I have given it permissions to notifications on critical alerts and so on.

Please advise.

It’s possible with an S21+ / Android 15 / UI 7.0

Make sure at least one critical notification has been sent & received.

Open Notifications and select “Notification categories”

Select "Critical alert notifications:

Select “Sound” to pick a sound:

Do you mean “do not disturb” in samsung?
Then open setting for the do not disturb - app notifications - select app /homey in this case

No, i just always have the sound turned off. Every volume on mute.

I hoped that critical alarm would be able to bypass this

Maybe this is of any use. With the Samsung app called Sound Assistant, it’s possible to turn of sounds of any app but Homey

Other idea: when you enable Do not Disturb mode 24/7, and leave Notification sounds on, you can exclude Homey app

You might be able to use Modes and Routines on Samsung. Then you can send a notification from Homey like SOUNDON, which the Routine will trigger on and turn the sound back on. Then, your Flow should send a critical alert which will now sound. You can add a delay to the Routine which will disable the sound again in 30 seconds

Thanks for all the suggestions. I have been in contact with homeys support and the can reproduce the problem. I hope they will fix it instead of workarounds.
