# Create Virtual device with capability "alarm\_contact"

I need to add a Virtual device with capability _alarm\_contact_ in order to be detected by Heimdall to emulate an ON/OFF switch  
I tried several no one is acknowledged but in the case the device is Motion detection  
Use of this device is to pass to Heimdall the info of an Open/Close switch implemented by a flow with the Fibaro binary sensor as explained in the thread:

I missed your last posts in the other topic, but you would need to contact the developer of the Virtual Devices app for it. Unfortunately he is not (yet) registered here, but you could try via Github by filing a bug report.

It seems issue [#61](https://github.com/ArjanKranenburg/virtual-devices/issues/61) (Not being able to set the Virtual Motion Sensor from a flow card) is fixed in [version 0.7.4](https://github.com/ArjanKranenburg/virtual-devices/tree/issue/061_BooleanSensor) but it’s not yet published in the app store
