Now that the evenings are dark so early, I have been thinking about how to make our living spaces feel cozier at night. I like the lights to come on gradually in the early evening, so the house feels warm and welcoming when we settle in after dinner. Softer, warmer light in the main rooms seems to make the whole evening feel calmer than bright overhead lighting. I have also been trying a slower wind-down routine, with the lights dimming a little as bedtime gets closer. What cozy evening lighting routines do you use in winter, and which ones make the biggest difference to how your home feels?

Maybe [Adaptive Lighting | Homey](https://homey.app/en-us/app/tv.waldoandfriends.adaptive-lighting/Adaptive-Lighting/test/) could be something for you.
