# Cloud dependency flow

Good morning,  
Do flows depend on the cloud?  
That is to say, if Homey is cut off from the internet, will a flow continue to work?

Assuming you mean for a Homey Pro: unless the flow depends on devices or apps that require internet access, the flow will work without an internet connection.

That’s a tricky question, because launching a flow manually means you have to run the app, and the apps don’t have a great track record when it comes to dealing with a missing internet connection (often saying that Homey is offline).
