Has anyone successfully connected an Aqara T2 relay module and a double rocker wall switch to Homey Pro?

I see the T2 relay on the “Best Buy” guide, but I do not see it listed in the Aqara Homey app. I do see Aqara H1 double rocker switch in the app, but it looks like its for 2 different light switches, not two buttons for 1 light switch ( [Aqara Smart Light Switch (with Neutral, Double Rocker), Requires AQARA HUB, Zigbee Switch, Remote Control and Set Timer for Home Automation, Compatible with Alexa, Apple HomeKit - Amazon.com](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081ZRBPLC/ref=sspa_dk_hqp_detail_aax_0?sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9ocXBfc2hhcmVk&th=1)).

Hi Nathan,

Please use the dedicated app topics for app, app device, app support related questions and information
You can find the links to it @ the homey.app app pages.

Hmmm, you probably found another error, Nathan.
@Doekse Aqara T2 is in the best buy guide, not in the app:

Nathan, I also found this piece of info, as it seems you have to spam Aqara headquarters:

Historically, our focus has been primarily on the European market, so there wasn’t a pressing need to add support for devices based in the US or Asia. Both @TedTolboom and I have communicated to Aqara the importance of supporting these devices, though they remain somewhat hesitant.

As far as I know,
Single rocker switch switches one light
Double rocker switch can switch 2 different lights

This is the double rocker electrical scheme, from the [site](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081ZRBPLC/) you linked to. It can switch two different lights

These are the available flow cards, seems OK to me
(a button has been pressed: this can be any button)
(A scene … has been activated with …: used for any button’s double press or long press and such)

Hi!
Before I go purchase the Aqara T2 Double Relays, can you confirm that in Homey I can switch each relay separately? I can’t see it in the cards from the Aqara Homey app website

(In the US. US versions of Aqara T2 relay and H2 light switch)
After a fair bit of effort, well I’m still not happy but I kind of got what I wanted.

First the ceiling fan - Just to make sure everyone is caught up, you need the right ceiling fan. Most ceiling fans I could buy in the US come with remotes. Those are not wired to support this configuration. They only have 1 wiring harness that you cannot split out for a relay switch.

The best hint I can give is that you’ll want a ceiling fan with the chain pulls to turn the light and fan on and off.

Then wire in the Aqara T2 relay. It works with homey now. I have a single circuit in my wall switch wired to the T2 so that it can control the fan and the light separately.

Then I added an Aqara H2 double rocker light switch. It’s a matter device, and that’s how it gets into homey. The switch also supports zigbee connections, but the Aqara app in homey doesn’t support the H2 yet.

You can check the supported devices (and the specific model IDs) in the first post of the dedicated Aqara app topic: [[APP] Aqara & Xiaomi Smart Home - Simplify your life with a smarter home](https://community.homey.app/t/app-aqara-xiaomi-smart-home-simplify-your-life-with-a-smarter-home/156)

Based on the overview it supports the following module:

Yeah, the T2 dual relay works fine.

The H2 switch works via matter, but I don’t have an option for power always on that way. I’d like to try zigbee on the H2, but it’s not supported with Homey. I’d have to add an Aqara hub.

After trying this flow a billion different ways, I think I have one that works

 ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/2/5/2562c542e7ae2b8c5f8b7f4dfddd3322030ff197.png)

Needs more testing, and the delay is a little annoying, but I think it works!

“Button 4” is a soft button in the light switch mapped to the top button. “Button 5” is the soft button in the light switch mapped to the bottom button.

That switch is wired into the power, then up to the Dual Relay T2. The top switch has to be on for power to get to the dual relay, so ever button press makes sure the top switch is on.

The bottom button isn’t physically connected to anything. It just servers as a soft button for the fan. Again, the dual relay needs power to check the status of the fan at the relay, so all commands start with ensuring the top button in the switch is on.
