Hi Community, please I need help to choose a fixed installation charging wallbox for private use that without problems communicate with Homey (without any complicated workaround). Many thanks ---

I am using the Amina s. See [this thread](https://community.homey.app/t/app-amina-power-up-your-smart-home-with-amina-s/114193) for my experiences. What I really like about it: - the design: really small and slick - Fixed cable: no hassle with cables, no bulky connector (contributing to the sleek design) - Local zigbee connection: not cloud dependend. I have it over a year now, no issues - No cloud connection, so no risk on external interference. - Easy to install - Enough control via home (see the thread mentioned above) Negative - no cloud connection: firmware upgrades need to be done with a special app - No dedicated app: only controlled by smart hubs like homey. Might be an issue with the WAF (Wife acceptance factor). No problem for me… - Switching phases (1 to 3phase) is only active after switching off+on, makes the flow a bit more complex - no dedicated load balancer (but you can build it with homey) ---

Have a look at the [Best Buy guide EV chargers](https://homey.app/en-de/best-buy-guide/ev-chargers/) I have the myenergi zappi. It is a bit more expensive. I do not know, if it is really better, but it does everything I need, incl. PV integration. The measurement of the PV surplus (in my set-up) is not exact, which leads to some issue on cloudy days. But in general it works well. ---
