# Can't add Fibaro Motion Sensor FGMS-001

Hi,  
This is my first use and I already have a problem 😕

I can’t add my FGMS-001 in homey, why ? any ideas ?

you didn’t insert the battery  
you inserted an empty battery  
you didn’t install the fibaro app  
you selected the wrong device  
you didn’t follow the instructions correctly  
you didn’t follow the instructions at all  
you didn’t reset the device prior to adding it to Homey  
you are not close enough to Homey  
your Homey is not switched on  
Can think of numerous other reasons, but i think you get the point?  
Some more usesful information would be very convenient to answer your question and solve your problem…
