# Can python run on homey 2023?

i bought myself some heatpumps from the midea family Mitsui Carrier to heat and cool my house, and there aint any apps for it on homey, a lot of apps for the oldfashioned centralheaters. So i decided first te make an app for them before a update my apps to 3,0. My question is can i run py on homey, all libraries to communicate with the heat pumps are written in py,

You can’t create a Homey app with Python, no. You _can_ run Python on Homey in the SSH Experiment, or when you jailbreak your Homey, but that’s not the same.
