# Best inexpensive homey pro smart door lock

It’s not experimental 😊 I think the reason they say that it only works with HA is because HA supported Matter 1.2 at the time when not a lot of other controllers did. But according to the HP2023 firmware changelog page, Homey also supports Matter 1.2 since firmware v10.2.0, so I assume it should work with Homey too.
