I know this is an old topic but from personal experience these generic Chinese 433mhz PIR have been brilliant. I have them installed all around my property… I’ve found them to be fairly accurate and responsive … Rarely experience any false triggers… Are battery operated. I’d say they will probably last about 3+ years (maybe more) before needing a battery change going by other 433Mhz PIRs ive used in the past. They draw bugger all power and have a VERY large 3 cell battery pack… Most sensors are just one cell… Show an LED indicator when they are triggered. Good for testing and to also know if batteries are on their way out, And are really Cheappppppp … I’ve tried many different models. These just work and are very little fuss in terms of management… I’d highly recommend. > **[AU $22.06 15% Off | 433MHz Wireless Infrared Detector Below 10kg PET Immune...](https://star.aliexpress.com/share/share.htm?image=Ub01e517325bd4eafbb0e83c7b599408c5.jpg&businessType=ProductDetail&title=AU%20%2422.06%20%2015%25%20Off%20%7C%20433MHz%20Wireless%20Infrared%20Detector%20Below%2010kg%20PET%20Immune%20Wireless%201527%20Code%20For%20Our%20Wifi%20%2F%20GSM%20%2F%20PSTN%20Home%20Security%20Alarm&platform=AE&redirectUrl=https:%2F%2Fwww.aliexpress.com%2Fitem%2F4000768498814.html?&srcSns=sns_Copy&tid=white_backgroup_101&mb=X23QJdMgqZawMD1&businessType=ProductDetail&spreadType=socialShare)** ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/e/9/e9a6b2b2873b164e0878f7a4d3c72e1763b85962.jpeg) ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/4/d/4d7623af0b464f291acc20d45112a737f512ae98.jpeg) --- _[View the full topic](https://community.homey.app/t/best-indoor-motion-sensor/29704)._
