⚠ **ATTENTION: Community Security regarding the use of external links**

To ensure the safety of all members and maintain the integrity of our platform, the use of unnecessary external links is strictly prohibited.

**Please refrain from posting:**

- **Affiliate or Referral Links:** Unauthorized commercial linking is not permitted.
- **External File Hosting (e.g., Dropbox, Google Drive):** Use the forum’s built-in features to write posts. Don’t deep-link to files you don’t own, and provide a link to the site from the owner where the document can be found and downloaded or requested.
- **External Picture Services:** Please upload images directly to your posts. This prevents “broken” images and protects users from tracking scripts on third-party hosting sites.

**Why this matters:**
External links can lead to malicious software, phishing attempts, or data tracking. By keeping content native to the forum, we ensure a faster, safer, and more reliable experience for everyone.

**Posts containing prohibited links may be edited or removed without notice. Repeat offenders risk account suspension.**

_And hey, please continue using a link to a community review on YT or a external blog explaining related fun things in details!!_

This has also to do with the way we prevent spam on the forum like described here: [⚠️ ATTENTION COMMUNITY: New AI-Assisted Spam Tactics](https://community.homey.app/t/attention-community-new-ai-assisted-spam-tactics/149034)

Thank you for helping keep our community safe!

AI responses may include mistakes. [Learn more about the Google AI I used to create above post 😉](https://support.google.com/websearch?p=aimode)

> Yes AI saves me time and is sometimes useful
> Create a warning for the Forum users to not use unnecessary links, like affiliate links, Dropbox or external picture services on the community to keep the forum safe.
