I am thinking of buying Homey but I read that you have to say: Hey Google, ask homey to turn on the lights and can’t say: Hey Google, turn on the lights. I do everything with Google Home, so this would be something i’m considering before buying. Are there any plans for this or does this work already? ---

Yep, talks between Google and Athom have been going on for some months. Last thing we users understood was that google want too much personal information. But they’re discussing it… ---

There are other options to work around this though, like using MQTT. Search for gbridge here.
