I have several Aqara G10 cameras. I have tried to add them as virtual IP-cameras with no luck. Since I´m not so familiar with scripts and so on I would like a easier solution.

Anyone who having a quick fix?

If they support the ONVIF protocol, Helene, you should be able to add them with the [Onvif Camera app](https://community.homey.app/t/28377).
It supports streaming as well (still only available with the beta Homey app).

I have tried the ONVIF camera installation. It does not work. I am not able to connect the camera since it doesn’t support ONVIF only RTPS.

Yeah, a quick specs search didn’t return Onvif in any way.
2 things you can do:

- Ask Adrian if it’s possible to use RTSP-only cams as streaming cam in some way, with his Onvif Camera app; Just post your questions in the [Onvif Camera app topic](https://community.homey.app/t/28377).
- Request support for Aqara cams per request-a-brand.homey.app

That’s not practical really as I would need to change too many aspects of the app.

Maybe in the future Athom could be persuaded to add an RTSP widget to the dashboard if they get enough requests.

They should really just update the virtual camera device so it supports RTSP and other streams.

Doesn’t it do that already?
This is in the docs:

> **[Videos | Homey Apps SDK](https://apps.developer.homey.app/advanced/videos#example-rtsp)**
>
> Devices can add support for streaming video, which can be viewed from the mobile app & dashboards.

No, I mean when you add a new device then pick “Virtual Devices \> Virtual IP Camera”. Last time I checked (a couple of days ago) it only supported image URL’s (so snapshots).

I am not comfortable with scripts. Have tried to understand but failed.
