Use logic for the AND condition (add logic less than card and search on FP2 device name)

Got mine resolved eventually, I reinstalled the Homey app, and that seems to have solved it (and of course I already updated it, restarted etc)

@Martin_Verbeek i successfully added the first one, but the second fp2 gave me an error after i entered the code:

I did not know there was a live version. I’m running the test version. Yes it’s functioning in the Aqara app.

Edit:

Just installed the live version v1.0.4 and it added the device. It shows up now.

This however are the AND cards for the kitchen (this is what i most recently added) and it only shows 1 Card:

This one is the living room AND cards (which shows **3** Cards):

Any idea how why this is happening? Is it possible to add a Repair option to sync all sensor capabilities so i can use all AND cards for my kitchen fp2 sensor? I’d like to have all cards available like the one in my Living Room.

For AND cards mostly the Logic cards are used. Not many apps have AND cards, or few AND cards

That makes no sense. Both sensors of the same type/brand inside the same app should have the same AND cards. They’re the same devices.

This is not good… will have a look into it.

Can you post a screenshot of both devices sensor screens from the UI?

I removed the faulty one from the Homekit Controller app and from the Aqara app. I then re-added the device on the Aqara app and tried adding it back again with the Homekit Controller app (v1.8.0), but it said it couldn’t find any new devices. I can’t seem to add it back at all now…

What’s going on? is it thinking the device is already registered? It’s not.

Forgot to reset the FP2?  
Dev says:

Hi, happy and healthy new year! I spent quite some time trying to get the Aqara FP2 to work on Homey Pro 2023. Also reading and trying the tips in the posts about this topic but I can’t get it to work. Here’s what I did:

Installed Aqara Home app on tablet  
Add and configured the FP2 in Aqara app  
Installed Homekit Controller test version on Homey  
Add new Homekit device  
Make the FP2 flashing yellow by pressing the button 10s  
When I press connect I see four FP2’s, it doesn’t matter wich one I choose  
Enter the PIN and pressed (one time) OK

Now I get: “connect EHOSTUNREACH 192.168.178.4459421”  
Restart Homekit Controller  
Now there’s a connection time out 30s

Restart Homey  
Restart Homekit Controller  
Delete and reinstall Aqara Home  
Press button on FP2 10 times  
Instead of making the FP2 flashing yellow only pull the plug and reconnect it before press connect

again “connect EHOSTUNREACH 192.168.178.4459421”

I did this multiple times in multiple orders over several days.

Is there hope for me and my sensor? Help is really appreciated here.

Just re-read carefully what Martin „The Dev“ wrote two posts above. (Post from Peter)  
I think you shouldn‘t reset the FP2 a second time after it‘s added to the Aqara App. Just remove it from HomeKit if iOs and follow the steps from Martin

Install latest test version.

There are two possibilities. You already have an installed FP2 on Aqara app or you have new one. If new install it using the aqara app

If you have iOS, unpair it from the home app.

Now goto the Homey Homekit controller app  
Add the device  
When it asks for the PIN and you have supplied it.  
Press the OK button ONLY ONCE, wait for the pairing to succeed it can take a few seconds.

ONLY when you have issues:

Remove the device from Homey  
Remove the device from Aqara app  
Readd to aqara (now you have to use the button on the fp2 until yellow flashing)  
And you are back at step 1.
