# Aqara Door Window Sensor P2 - Matter version

I found that pairing the _Aqara Door Window Sensor P2_ with Homey using Matter worked flawlessly when my _[Homey Ethernet Adapter](https://community.homey.app/t/aqara-door-window-sensor-p2-matter-version/86532/31)_ was connected. However, without the Ethernet Adapter, it didn’t work at all.
