# App TV Android Thomson

Hi there,

is there an app that allows you to control an android tv, i have a thomson tv and i would like to be able to turn it off.

You can also try the onboard IR remotes, but Homey has to be in line of sight.

Another option, a [Switchbot Hub](https://community.homey.app/t/app-cloud-pro-switchbot-release-1-1-16/42296). It can learn IR commands and send them via Homey flow card
