You can find more about the codes in the device settings (within Homey) under Device Specification. You can find the meaning of the codes and the values you should enter by adding a timeline notification to the trigger card with the value. Then, you can control the device from the Tuya mobile app and then you can see what value corresponds to which action

Hello,

I am a refugee from Tuya Cloud by Homey to this Tuya app because some devices failed to respond.

However, I am having trouble with an “unknown” device. In this app, I get the message “no available codes found”, whereas in the previous app, I had access to all the codes.

Here are the device specifications:
`{"device":{"active_time":1721933606,"biz_type":0,"category":"infrared_ac","create_time":1721933606,"icon":"smart/ir/icon/9knfrm4eawao.png","id":"bf314c42e497eff87erbkh","ip":"<redacted>","lat":"<redacted>","local_key":"<redacted>","lon":"<redacted>","model":"","name":"Varmepumpe kjellerstue","node_id":"46ab1395fb99f63c","online":true,"owner_id":"<redacted>","product_id":"1ownck","product_name":"Air Conditioner","sub":true,"time_zone":"+02:00","uid":"<redacted>","update_time":1721933606,"uuid":"<redacted>"},"specifications":{"category":"infrared_ac","functions":[{"code":"F","type":"ENUM","values":"{\"min\":0,\"max\":3,\"scale\":0,\"step\":1,\"type\":\"Integer\"}"},{"code":"M","type":"ENUM","values":"{\"min\":0,\"max\":4,\"scale\":0,\"step\":1,\"type\":\"Integer\"}"},{"code":"PowerOff","type":"STRING","values":"PowerOff"},{"code":"PowerOn","type":"STRING","values":"PowerOn"},{"code":"T","type":"ENUM","values":"{\"min\":16,\"max\":30,\"scale\":0,\"step\":1,\"type\":\"Integer\"}"}],"status":[{"code":"wind","type":"ENUM","values":"{\"min\":0,\"max\":3,\"scale\":0,\"step\":1,\"type\":\"Integer\"}"},{"code":"mode","type":"ENUM","values":"{\"min\":0,\"max\":4,\"scale\":0,\"step\":1,\"type\":\"Integer\"}"},{"code":"power","type":"BOOLEAN","values":"{}"},{"code":"temp","type":"ENUM","values":"{\"min\":16,\"max\":30,\"scale\":0,\"step\":1,\"type\":\"Integer\"}"}]},"data_points":[]}`

Hi everyone.

Has anyone tried looking into RF bridge integration? I checked the tuya cloud API with my added devices, maybe I tried wrong endpoints but couldn’t connect all the dots in order to it to work.

At the moment, as a workaround, I can use tuya scenes, but Tuya app seems kinda unreliable in calling the scene. Can someone explain why is this happening and how can I make it better? Very often I get an exclamation mark (meaning scene couldn’t be called), though if I enter tuya app, I can insta call it every time. Not very convenient to spam the button multiple times or switch over to tuya app.

Hello all,

Having an issue on a power meter socket like others already reported here. The value in the “energy” is not the real one. I have completely wiped the information and did a full test. Tuya iOS app reports 1.1kWh energy total consumed and homey Tuya app reports 32kWh… this is completely non-sense. I see already that other users reported the same and we were asked to do open an issue in gitlab, but every time we are redirected to the forum, like reporting issues is “locked”.

@drenso pleaee could you have a look to this?

Tuya app:

Hey @Andi great work. Any chance of getting support for a socket with power meter so the information on the homey energy tab is correct?

Sure - could you share the DPS (eventually you can install my app, install the plug as dehumidifier, and send me the debug/raw data from the app settings) information of your device here: [[APP][Pro] Tuya Local - Looking for testers (Dehumidifier testing)](https://community.homey.app/t/app-pro-tuya-local-looking-for-testers-dehumidifier-testing/154077)

I have set up a flow for my **smart tuya vertical blind** used with **middle-split opening**

I have the evening flow to close the blind and tilt the slates.

I need help how I can operate the open and close but to a certain percentage. Since I don’t know how to do, I can only do the morning to tilt the slats.. But the card that moves the blinds to open and close has only three options, if I chose up, it does fully open, and I would like 30% open,

Does anyone know ?

Also what does the card 3, 4, 5 ,6 do?

Set to boolean

Set to JSON

Set to number

Set to string

I try several time to add my Boneco humidificator via the tuya app. I was only able to add it as “other” and not as an humidificator. Probably due to that, I can only interact which my humidificator via scene that I have created in the Tuya app and I do not have the real status of my humidificator in Homey. Did I do something wrong when I add my humidificator in Homey?

Yeah, you bought a Tuya based device 😁

You should use the instructions from the main post (either bug report or device request) so that the developer can look into your specific problem: they do not actively monitor this thread.

I have many Tuya devices (most of my smart home devices are Tuya) and all of them work perfectly so I don’t think Tuya is the issue here. Probably the device is not yet supported by Homey’s implementation
