Transform your Reolink security cameras and doorbells into intelligent participants in your smart home. This app integrates your Reolink devices with Homey, enabling powerful automations based on what your cameras see and hear.

Receive instant notifications when someone rings your doorbell, create flows that respond to person, pet, or vehicle detection, and capture snapshots automatically when motion is detected. Whether you have standalone cameras, devices connected through a Reolink Home Hub, or a complete NVR setup, this app brings them all together into your Homey ecosystem.

## FEATURES

**Detection & Alerts**

- AI detection: person, vehicle, pet, package, face
- Motion detection triggers
- Doorbell press notifications
- Visitor detection events

**Camera Control**

- Live video streaming (RTSP)
- Snapshot capture on demand
- PTZ control (pan, tilt, zoom) and presets
- Spotlight, siren, IR lights, day/night, privacy mode, scene mode and chime volume

**Device Support**

- Standalone cameras and doorbells
- NVR-connected cameras
- Home Hub-connected devices
- Battery status monitoring

## COMPATIBILITY

There are three ways a Reolink device can connect to Homey:

1. **Directly.** Wired and mains-powered Wi-Fi cameras, doorbells, Home Hubs and NVRs have a local API. Homey talks to the device itself.
2. **Through a Home Hub or NVR.** Battery cameras and some Wi-Fi-only models have no local API. Homey talks to the hub or NVR, which relays to the camera.
3. **Not at all.** 4G/LTE models only reach the Reolink cloud. That is a Reolink limitation, not something the app can work around.

Model detection is matched on the type name the device reports, so most naming variants (regional names, “Series” prefixes, revision suffixes) are recognised automatically. The lists below come from the app’s device registry (version 1.5.2, 338 entries). Click a product family to expand it.

### 1. Directly supported (216 models)

These devices have a local API. You add them straight to Homey with the device’s own IP address and login.

### 2. Supported through a Home Hub or NVR (57 models)

Battery and Wi-Fi-only models do not expose a local API. Add your Home Hub or NVR to Homey first, then add the camera. Homey talks to the hub, the hub talks to the camera. Detection, snapshots and streams work, but battery cameras only respond while awake.

### 3. Supported through an NVR only (20 models)

Add-on cameras from NVR kits. Add the NVR to Homey first, then add the camera as a channel of that NVR.

### 4. Not supported (34 models)

4G/LTE models talk to the Reolink cloud only. There is no local API, so Homey cannot reach them. This is a Reolink limitation, not something the app can work around.

> **4G / LTE cameras (34)**
>
> TrackMix LTE, TrackMix LTE Plus, TrackMix LTE Plus 2, TrackMix LTE-C, TrackMix Wired LTE, G765, G770, Go PT, Go PT Plus, Go PT Ultra, Go PT S Lite, Go PT Ext, Go Duo, Go Ranger PT, Duo 4G, Duo 2 LTE, Altas Go, Altas Go PT, Altas Go PT Ultra, Go, Go Plus, Go Ultra, Go Ext, G330, G340, G420S, G430, G440, G450, G630, G650, G750, G760, G790

**Model missing or listed wrong?** Reply in this topic with the exact model name as shown in the Reolink app under Device info, and whether it is connected directly, through a hub or through an NVR.

## SETUP

Before you add a device, open the Reolink app and go to the device settings \> **General** \> **Advanced network settings** \> **Server settings**. Enable **HTTP(S)**, **RTSP** and **ONVIF**. For cameras connected to a Home Hub or NVR, do this on the hub or NVR instead: those cameras have no network settings of their own.

Use a **static IP** or DHCP reservation for your cameras, hubs and NVRs. If the IP changes, Homey may stop receiving events, causing flows, snapshots, or streams to fail.

## NOTES

- Dual-lens cameras (TrackMix, Duo) support multiple streams only when connected standalone. Hub/NVR connections show a single stream.
- Ensure your camera firmware is up to date for best compatibility.
- Cameras must be on the same network as Homey or accessible via your NVR/Hub.

## SUPPORT

If you run into a problem, open a support ticket at [Koktail Support](https://support.koktail.nl/?app=com.reolink). The fastest way to get it solved is with debug logging on, so I can see what happened between Homey and your device:

1. Open the **Homey app**
2. Go to **More** (…) \> **Apps** \> **Reolink**
3. Tap **Settings** (gear icon in the top right)
4. Switch on **Enable debug logging**
5. Reproduce the problem
6. Tap **Open support ticket**. Your logs are linked to the ticket automatically. Passwords and tokens are never sent.

It is always helpfull to include:

- What happened and what you expected to happen
- Steps to reproduce (for example: go to ‘…’, tap ‘…’, see error)
- Your camera model and how it is connected (directly, through a hub, through an NVR)
- Screenshots if they help explain the problem

Hi
Been using this app for about a month since Leendert added support for your E560 in v1.0.10.😊
And I also see that there has been more motion features on the doorbell, and that is nice😊
Next on my wishlist is flow card which moves the camera to at preset point based on a trigger(when)?
Ex: Someone opens the garage door, then set preset point to “GARAGEZOOM” and take snapshot and send snapshot something something.
I’m up for testing if needed👍
EX from ONVIF;

Question, why does the doorbell ringing card have a duration and what purpose does the duration have? Surely we just need a doorbell rung card. Also in version 1.0.12, the doorbell ringing card does not seem to be firing when the doorbell is rung. I’m using the WiFi wired doorbell via home hub pro.

First of all, thanks for the great work on the Reolink app!

I wanted to share something about the livestreams. On my phone everything is fine, but on my Samsung Tab A8 (used as a dashboard) the screen stays black.

I found out that the tablet just can’t handle the high-res stream. I tested this by adding the camera via the ONVIF app and forced it to use the low-res stream. That worked instantly on the Tab A8! So, if it’s possible, maybe it’s an idea to add an option to choose between the high-res and low-res stream in the app settings?

Also, I agree with **Bazmandude** about the doorbell trigger. Why does the card have a duration? It’s a bit confusing. A simple “doorbell rings” trigger (without the seconds) would be much more useful for flows.

The duration is something that has changed recently (default capabilities get this option always)
