This is the protocol with the old connection:

I’m connected to my Fritz!Box via VPN, but I can’t get the device to reconnect.

For how many weeks please ? In the logs I just see attempt to connect to device, which timeouts. Does it respond to pings, have you tried to re-plug it ? Did you check the IP is still the same also in the official Xiaomi app ?

Anyone around with Mi Smart Antibacterial Humidifier JSQ2W, confirmed working fine ?

I don’t know exactly, I’d guess about 10 weeks.

I just tried again.

The IP address is correct, the token is correct.

When I log in to Xiaomi online, my device is also displayed on the web.

Which one should I choose for my Humidifier 2 ?

I had chosen the Mi Smart Antibacterial Humidifier MIoT (WiFi) at the time.

This version ran stably for many months.

I tried it again, but…

10 weeks… 🥺 Did it happen right after some update from my side ? If so, which version ? At that time, if you were on production, not test version, there were no changes 10 weeks ago. Originally I planned to switch to prod on May/2026 but I did the switch after all August/2026.

Is it local or cloud based integration, have you had to setup Xiaomi Cloud account for HA ?

**Also when you paired it again, I see “Call to device timed out” multiple time per seconds, that should not happen.**
**Just to be sure, can you check “polling” interval in the device setting ?** Safe value would be \>10 sec, then restart the device and wait for polling interval, if that would help.

@Sharkys This app is really BACK! 😄

Planing to invest in a Xiaomi Smart Pet Fountain 2 EU
will that work in the app? I see the first version works, I also see you have implanted Pet feeder 2 support! Amazing!!

### Version 3.5.23 — Added Flow-based discovery and launching of Xiaomi Home Custom cleanup plans for X20 Pro, X20 Max, and H40, preserving the saved room-cleaning order.

### Version 3.5.21 — Added separate base-station status and model-specific Flow controls for Xiaomi X20, X20 Pro, X20 Max and H40 robot vacuums.

## Xiaomi Home Custom cleanup plans in Homey

The Xiaomi Mi Home app now supports discovering and starting saved Xiaomi Home **Custom cleanup** plans from a Homey Flow. If you were pissed like me that you can’t start cleaning in certain order, Custom cleanup is Xiaomi solution for it and it’s pretty hidden in the Xiaomi app - you need to swipe up in the Xiaomi app on the bottom part.

### Compatible models

- Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20 Pro (`xiaomi.vacuum.d102gl`)
- Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20 Max (`xiaomi.vacuum.d109gl`) - confirmed on real device
- Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H40 (`xiaomi.vacuum.ov51gl`)

### How to use it

1. Open Xiaomi Home and create one or more **Custom cleanup** plans.
2. Configure the rooms, their cleaning order, cleaning mode and other available settings.
3. Save each plan under a recognizable name.
4. In Homey, create a Flow or Advanced Flow.
5. Add the action card **Start Xiaomi Home Custom cleanup plan**.
6. Select your vacuum and then select one of the discovered plans.
7. Save and test the Flow.

When the Flow runs, the app refreshes the plan catalogue and starts the selected Xiaomi Home plan. The room order stored in the plan is preserved—this has been confirmed on the X20 Max.

If a plan is deleted and recreated in Xiaomi Home, it may receive a new internal ID. In that case, edit the Homey Flow and select the plan again.

### Troubleshooting

If no plans appear:

- Confirm that at least one Custom cleanup plan exists in Xiaomi Home.
- Reopen the Homey Flow card to refresh the list.
- Verify that the correct vacuum is selected.

A read-only **Diagnose Xiaomi Home Custom cleanup plans** action is also available for collecting diagnostic information without starting a cleaning job. So start the custom cleanup and right after start the flow **Diagnose Xiaomi Home Custom cleanup plans** and then send Diagnostic log from the Homey Xiaomi Home app.

Real-device operation and room-order preservation have been verified on the X20 Max. X20 Pro and H40 use the same compatible MIoT interface, but additional user confirmation for those models is welcome.

In the Homey app (3.5.23) for the X20 Max, I can’t find the setting for time = once or twice. (While the robot is working, if I open Xiaomi, I see it’s set to twice). In the older version of the app, it seems the robot used to clean the same room faster. Is it possible to change this value?

I’m not sure I follow, but you are using this trigger to start the vacuum ?

And you are missing here the “Times” settings ? Frankly, I would probably really suggest to setup rather custom cleanup plans, it will give you much bigger granularity maybe… but if I misunderstood, let me know.

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to integrate a **Xiaomi Mi Smart LED Ceiling Light 350mm (`yeelink.light.ceil34`)** into my self-hosted Homey Server. ( [Mi Smart Led Ceiling Light 450mm | Xiaomi Italia | Tutte le specifiche e caratteristiche](https://www.mi.com/it/product/mi-smart-led-ceiling-light-450mm/) )

The official Xiaomi Homey app doesn’t support this model, so I try to created a custom driver. The lamp is detected and added, but Homey shows **“Unknown model (undefined)”** and eventually times out.

The local IP is correct (`192.168.1.150`) and the lamp works normally in Xiaomi Home. I also have a MiIO token, although I’m not 100% sure it’s correct.

**Is there anyone who can help me get this model working with Homey?** I can provide the custom driver ZIP and logs.

Thanks!

Hi Sharkys, and thank you for your patience! I’m pretty new to Homey and home automation in general.

By ‘official Xiaomi Homey app’, I mean the one developed by Břetislav Kubeša.

I’ll try following your tutorial, and if I run into any issues or have questions, I’ll reach out to you. Thanks a lot!

Hi, I’m really embarrassed to admit that the lamp’s incompatibility issue was actually due to an incorrect token.

Now, thanks to the Yeelight Ceiling 5 model in the experimental version of the app and the correct token at last, I have completely resolved the issue.

Thank you so much for your help!

Hi I’ve successfully got my tokens out of the cloud and I’m currently onboarding my air purifiers. I have multiple H3 and multiple 3C.

The H3 units are stable the 3 C not so much. They connect then are available for a sort while Athena drop out.

I’ve set their IPs to static. I’ve tried different connectors (those tiles when I onboard them). I can’t get them to stick around and have to remove them.

Anyone know what I could do here?

Edit:

I just got those 3 3C working somehow. They’re in there and till now they’re still connected.

Nice

Thank you
