I bought this “VegTrug Flora Care” via Aliexpress. I download this app: [Xiaomi Mi Flora App voor Homey | Homey](https://homey.app/nl-be/app/com.mi.flora/Xiaomi-Mi-Flora/). First what I did was download the Vegtrug app and connected it with + updated the latest firmware. Then I removed the connection via BT and the app, so no info was found. Then I pull out the battery and reinserted it again for a new BT connection. On the Vegtrug app it will found it, but I didn’t continu with it. On the homey it won’t find it whatsoever. Tried it many times but still no luck. Is this the right chip or device for that? Notice: no BT connection was made with the Vegtrug app. I only checked if the app could find it. And it did. Update: it does work now, but still got some timeouts… ---

Hi, I bought the sensor you can see on image. Homey isn’t able to recognised, I tried with “Flower care” app for iPhone ant it work properly. Can you help me? The timeouts are likely caused because the connection has interference or is to far away. ---

Have you disabled your BLE from your phone. The device can be connected to one device once. The Homey app wil try to poll the sensor. ---

Hi, thanks for reply. I put the device so close that it touched the Homey. I have a lot of BT device at home, maybe these give interferences. After a lot of attempts I could install and setup device. Regards ---

I’m considering to buy some of Xiaomi Flora Sensors, can someone please share with me the experience of : - what is the distance from Homey where the signal is still strong enough ? - if those devices anyhow create a mesh (I doubt yet, I wonder) - does the global version works the same as the one for Chinese region ? - I see VerTrug and HHCC also selling this - anyone knows is it’s compatible - eg. - Distance depence on objecten in front and house characteristics. I’ve have some up to 8 meters. - No mesh available. - Chinees version isn’t compatibel. - VerTrug version is compatibel. If you read this topic all the answers are there already btw. ---

Hi, I have 3 Vetrugo Mi Flora sensors, first on 2.7 firmware, now with 3.2.2 firmware but no matter what I’m doing, I can add only two devices at once, the third is not detectable (even if original app see all of them fine). I see some people mentioning that also in App feedback. Any tips, what to do please ? I also tried to turn off Bluetooth on mobile (where the app is connected to) and no change, I still see only two devices. ---

The work ok for me with the new firmware. But; what do you all think of the reliability of the Flora sensors? Mine say the plants are farm moist enough when the soil feels very dry.you can see it on the plants as well then. I water them far before the limit of the particular plant is reached as stated by the sensor itself… Same for fertility of the ground… ---

they only update is there is a change… can take for hours, stick them with a plant and wait a day… see what happens… ---

So based on one user, who stated “everything is fine, just need to restart app after each sensor added” - indeed that helped! If that will help, diagnostic code after restart - a194f5f8-8f90-4626-ba67-3c2c5e52a4c3. Now I hope sensors will be updating values as well (previously they didn’t even after several hours), despite of changing values. Also settings didn’t work - I always got error “unknown error” upon saving settings.
